This policy explains which personal data we process when you visit www.zirconswiss.com. It follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Hosting and server logs

The website is hosted by Hostinger International Ltd. on a server in a data centre in Germany (EU). For every page request the server stores technically necessary log data: IP address, date and time, requested address, browser and operating system. This data is used to run the site securely and to prevent abuse, and is not combined with other data.

3. Contact form and bids

When you write to us via the contact form or place a bid, we process the data you provide (name, email address, optionally phone number, interest, message or product and bid amount). We forward your details to us by email and send you a confirmation. We also store the submission on our server so that no request is lost. We use the data only to handle your request or bid and delete it once it is no longer needed and no legal retention obligation applies.

4. Payment

For payments we redirect you to Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd., Ireland). You enter your payment details directly with Stripe; we do not receive them. Stripe's privacy policy applies: https://stripe.com/privacy

5. Shopping cart in your browser

The website stores the content of your shopping cart in your browser's local storage (localStorage). This data stays on your device and is not transmitted to us. We do not use cookies for advertising or analytics and do not use any tracking or analytics tools.

6. Google Fonts

To display fonts, the website loads font files from Google servers (Google Ireland Ltd. or Google LLC, USA). Your IP address is transmitted to Google in the process. More information: https://policies.google.com/privacy

7. YouTube videos

Videos are only loaded when you click “Play”. Only then does your browser connect to YouTube (Google), which may transmit data such as your IP address to Google. Before the click, only a preview image is loaded from a Google server.

8. Links to social networks

Our website contains plain links to Instagram and YouTube. No plugins are embedded; data is only transferred when you click a link and open the respective platform.

9. Transfers abroad

The service providers named above (Google, Stripe) may transfer data to the USA or other countries. Where there is no adequate level of data protection, these providers rely on recognised safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

10. Your rights

You may at any time request information about your data, ask for it to be corrected, deleted or handed over, and object to its processing. Please write to info@zirconswiss.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or a competent supervisory authority in the EU.
