Since 1911, the Villiger name has stood for watches and jewellery in Biel. R. Villiger AG on Bahnhofstrasse is a family business now run by the fourth generation – and one of the first places in Biel/Bienne where you can experience the Bow-Watch-Tie in person.
More than a century of watch expertise
What began in 1911 as a specialist shop is still in family hands today. Karl Villiger, engineer and gemmologist, and Beatrice Villiger, diamond grader and jewellery and watch specialist, run the business together with Stephan Villiger, engineer and diamond grader. Advice is given in German, French and English.
Villiger's watchmakers are certified by Rolex, IWC, Omega, Longines, Rado and Tissot. Alongside advice and sales, the house handles repairs, jewellery work, personalisation and valuations.
